A 20-day workshop was attended with about 30 international designers.
The theme was “WATER”. I acted as the local group leader for the
sanitation division. Our team consisted of four international designers
and two local designers. Products intended to be designed for the
South African rural market. Several days were spent in rural areas
understanding the cultural and sociological needs of the market.
